What material can you laser cut?
At Snijlab you can have wood, MDF, technical plastics, acrylic (plexiglass), foam, rubber, felt and cardboard laser cut, among other things.
An up-to-date overview of all available materials can be found in the materials overview and in the uploader.
How big is the material at Snijlab?
The maximum size Snijlab can laser cut is 2400 x 1200 mm. Not all materials are available in this size; here you can find all materials for large-format laser cutting.
Most materials are available up to 1200 x 600 mm. Some materials have a smaller size, which you'll see on the material page.
Within this format, you can submit almost any design, from small parts to large panels.
What thicknesses can Snijlab laser cut?
Snijlab cuts materials in thicknesses from 0.5 mm to approximately 10 mm, depending on the material type. Most wood types are available in thicknesses of 3, 4, or 6 mm. Foam types are available up to 20 mm thick. You can select a material thickness in the uploader.
