Rubber laser cutting

Create a design and receive rubber according to your design. Fast, cost-effective, and precise. Create custom seals, gaskets, and insulators in no time. A laser cut in rubber is approximately 0.2mm wide, and the laser exerts no force during cutting, allowing you to create the smallest details.

Rubbers are flexible, strong, and waterproof. Depending on the type, they can withstand various chemicals.

Silicone rubber is available in red and natural. Silicone has a wide temperature range of -60°C to +220°C. It has a hardness of approximately Shore 60. This is comparable to rubber swivel castors. Silicone is dishwasher safe.

CR rubber or neoprene sheet rubber is a strong black rubber. This is an all-round versatile rubber type. It is chemically resistant to many substances, including (sea)water, diluted acids, solvents, mineral oils, and greases. Neoprene's weather and ozone resistance are good.

Neoprene cellular rubber differs from CR sheet rubber because it is foamed. This makes it softer and more flexible. Neoprene cellular rubber is suitable for larger seals where a wider gap needs sealing and where the pressure is lower.

Not rubber, but interesting if you want to create seals and gaskets, is gasket paper.

Note: the edges of laser-cut rubber can, depending on the type, leave residue after laser cutting. Therefore, you must thoroughly wash the rubber parts with soap and water after receipt.
