Breakdown voltage (kV/mm) The breakdown voltage is important when the material is used as an insulator and indicates the voltage at which the material ceases to insulate and begins to conduct.

Properties
This acrylic is matted on both sides, which gives this acrylic a neat appearance. Moreover, this makes it much less susceptible to scratching and less prone to (finger) marks and soiling. That makes for a material that continues to look professional, even with daily use. And of course it has all the good qualities of acrylic: impact resistant, weather resistant, hard and perfectly laser editable.
Applications
Frosted acrylic is used for various parts in consumer products. For example, front panels, mounting plates and (parts of) housings. It is also an ideal material for lettering, logos and promotional items, also for outdoor use. In short; in every application where the material has to stay clean for a long time, matte acrylic is ideal.
