Description
A flexible plastic film, developed for engraving. Composed of two contrasting layers, with an adhesive film on the back.
Properties
Engraving film is a flexible plastic film composed of two contrasting layers of acrylic (PMMA). Similar to engraving laminate, but in a thin and flexible version. Because this film is flexible, it can be easily applied to round or curved shapes.
This film is composed of two layers: a core and a coloured top layer. During engraving, the top layer is removed, revealing the contrasting colour underneath. This ensures clean and legible engravings.
The back features an adhesive film, covered by a protective film which, once removed, allows the object to be directly adhered to various surfaces.
Suitable for indoor use and UV-resistant.
Although this material is break-resistant, it is also crease-sensitive; once folded, the crease will remain visible.
Applications
Engraving film is designed for engraving, and with the adhesive film on the back, you can stick it to both flat and round surfaces.
Perfect for attaching engravings to curved surfaces, cylindrical objects, and products that are round. But it can just as easily be adhered to something with a flat surface.
Engraving film is used for type plates, markings, labels on tools, name tags, instruction labels, as a decorative element, and for engraving QR codes.
