Large ideas deserve large format. Order custom parts up to the size of a furniture panel. Design up to 240 × 120 cm in furniture panel and plastic. The collection of large format materials consists of a diverse selection, relevant for both interior and decor, as well as technical and structural applications.
The thickest wood type in this collection is 18 mm lime plywood. For this, we work with an 18 mm 244 × 122 plywood furniture panel. But all thicknesses of 244 × 122 birch plywood are also available for laser cutting. MDF and double-sided veneered MDF (oak, ash, walnut, and mahogany) are also included in this collection.
Plastics are also available for large format laser cutting. These can be divided into display plastics and technical sheets. Display includes acrylic in clear, white, and black. Technical plastics include POM (polyacetal) and HDPE for laser cutting.
Whether you work with 12 mm plywood, 244 × 122 plywood, or a full furniture panel for a large design; you will find all large format materials below. This way, you can quickly and easily create a custom wooden panel, furniture part, or technical design.
Large format plywood laser cutting
Plywood is a good choice for large components because it's strong and easy to finish. Linde plywood is available in sizes up to 240 x 120 cm in thicknesses of 3 mm, 6 mm, 9 mm, and 18 mm. Birch plywood is available in sizes up to 120 x 120 cm, in thicknesses from 1 mm to 9 mm.
Linde plywood 18 mm is a new addition to the range and the preferred material for large wooden designs, ideal for its stability yet light weight for its thickness.
MDF for large-format laser cutting
MDF is strong and easy to use. It's available in various grades, from affordable to decorative. Our high-quality material produces neat results when laser-cut.
We stock these types of MDF in 240 x 120 cm, also known as furniture board. Standard MDF is brown, popular for its strength and affordability. Available in thicknesses of 2 mm, 3 mm, 4 mm, 6 mm, and 9 mm.
Walnut, mahogany, ash and oak furniture plywood
Acrylic (PMMA) for large-format laser cutting
Acrylic, also known as PMMA, Perspex, and Plexiglas, is part of the selection of materials for large formats. Gloss black and gloss white versions are available in thicknesses of 3 mm and 8 mm, up to 200 x 120 cm. Clear acrylic is also available up to 200 x 120 cm in thicknesses of 2 mm to 6 mm, and 8 mm and 10 mm.
8mm sheet thickness is the standard thickness for facade lettering, making this display plastic strong and decorative enough for creating logos for walls and the like.
PET felt for large format laser cutting
PET felt is now also part of the large format material selection. With a sheet thickness of 9 mm, this material is both strong and lightweight. The following colors are available in furniture board size: lilac, purple, rust brown, beige, taupe, 30% grey, 80% grey, black, midnight blue, forest green, ocean blue, brown, grass green, red, and yellow.
9 mm PET felt has excellent sound dampening properties and is used for acoustic panels, partitions, interior objects, displays, and artworks.
Technical plastics for large-format laser cutting
We now cut technical and mechanical applications up to 200 x 100 cm in POM and HDPE.
POM (polyacetal) is available in white up to 200 x 120 cm in thicknesses of 0.5 mm, 1 mm, 1.5 mm, 2 mm, 3 mm, 4 mm, 5 mm, 6 mm, and 8 mm. POM is an exceptionally strong plastic with excellent sliding properties.
HDPE is available in large-format black sheets up to 200 x 120 cm in the following thicknesses: 1 mm, 2 mm, 3 mm, 4 mm, 5 mm, and 6 mm. HDPE is tough, robust, and inexpensive for technical applications.
