Environmentally friendly and circular sheet material made from Hemp and PLA.
Properties
BioPanel is a sustainable, circular and biodegradable plastic sheet material composed of 100% biobased materials, such as industrial hemp and a thermoplastic lactic acid biopolymer (PLA). It is lightweight, strong and available in brown and black. The durability of BioPanel varies by application, but for signing purposes, it has a life span of at least 10 years. The top has a slight texture, the underside is smooth. For good cutting results, protective film on the underside is essential.
Applications
BioPanel is an environmentally conscious alternative to traditional materials such as Aluminum and HPL, especially for signing applications such as signage, signs and information panels. The use of BioPanel reduces dependence on fossil raw materials, minimizes energy consumption during production thanks to lower temperatures, and avoids residual waste because it is recyclable and biodegradable. This makes BioPanel a sustainable choice for a variety of applications.
