Characteristics
Engraving plate is ideal for making durable, high-contrast and detailed engravings. The laminate is made up of 3 layers of acrylic, consisting of a core and a thin top layer in a contrasting color on both sides. When the top layer is removed during engraving, the core becomes visible. This provides nice contrast and improves legibility and forms a recognizable engraving. The detail and effect is like printing, with the added option of lasering all possible shapes and details directly. The material is UV-resistant and is therefore suitable for indoor and outdoor applications.

Applications
This material is extremely suitable for visual applications. Think of information signs, creative name signs, type plates, warning signs, etc. You can of course cut mounting holes and special shapes directly. Front panels (possibly with an extra backing layer) can also be made attractive, whereby you directly cut holes for panel elements. You can also think of dials of measuring instruments or clocks, tool inlays with engraved instructions/layout, etc. Badges and brooches can be easily made by attaching a magnet to the back of a piece of engraved material.
