Foooty - The laser-cut ball

Foooty - Snijlab
Foooty is a playful and handy ball that you can assemble from flat, interlocking sheets of plastic.

It was conceived and designed by Jean-Pierre Raes of Amsterdam and developed together with Snijlab . Foooty has since taken off and manufacturing is running at full speed. So much so that injection molding is a more efficient production method than laser cutting. And so we see it at Snijlab. Laser cutting is not only an excellent technique for prototyping, but also for bridging the gap between small series and mass production.

Meanwhile, Jean Pierre is working on a special version of Foooty, which we at Snijlab are once again involved in. And, of course, we are very happy about that!
