Description
Boards with real oak on both sides and an MDF core. Easy to use, strong and decorative.
Note: Previously this material was 4 mm thick, since July 2024 we sell this material at 4.4 mm thick. Old designs with precise fits must be adjusted.
Features
The appearance of oak with a stable MDF core, ideal for decorative applications. Oak has a warm brown tone and is widely used for its luxurious appearance. This material consists of two layers of real oak veneer with a stable MDF core. The boards are even and strong, suitable for detailed designs. Laser cutting creates a cutting edge that is dark brown, almost black from color . The amount of soot given off by the cutting edge is minimal, and the dark color conceals the MDF core. This oak board adds a natural and luxurious finish to any project.
Applications
Oak MDF core is suitable for decorative applications such as the manufacture of lamps, product displays, nameplates, furniture components and packaging. It is also an ideal choice for models and maquettes because of its versatility and robustness.
Engraving
Line engravings on the oak veneer are clear and contrasting, like a sharp drawing. Flat engravings are less dark than line engravings and create a clearly visible contrast in these oak veneers.
