We already had MDF in natural 3-9mm, extra thin 1 and 3mm, through and through black 3 and 6mm and white coated 3mm, but now also in 6 colors!
These boards are as easy to use as regular MDF. They are flat, strong, and easy to work with. Also, when you sand or saw, you don't have to finish edges because the boards are colored through and through.
You can paint them, oil them or just leave them unfinished. The latter is, of course, the easiest; all you have to do is have your wooden parts laser cut and they are instantly beautifully colored!
