Info about rubber
Make a drawing and receive rubber according to your design. Fast, inexpensive and precise. Create custom seals, gaskets and insulators in no time. A laser cut in rubber is approx. 0.2mm wide and the laser exerts no force while cutting so you can make the smallest details.
Rubbers are flexible, strong and waterproof. Depending on the species, they can withstand various chemicals.
Silicone rubber we have in red and natural. Silicone has a wide temperature range of up to -60° C to +220°C. It has a hardness of approx. Shore 60. This is similar to rubber casters. Silicone is dishwasher safe.
CR rubber or neoprene sheet rubber is a strong black rubber. This is an all-purpose rubber. It is chemically resistant to many substances, including (sea) water, dilute acids, solvents, mineral oils and greases. Neoprene's weather and ozone resistance are good.
Stamp rubberis specially designed for making stamps. Laser engraving removes part of the surface. This gives you a one-piece stamp that you can make as many details in as you like.
Neoprene cellular rubber is different from the CR sheet rubber because it is foamed. As a result, it is softer and more flexible. Neoprene cellular rubber is suitable for larger seals where a larger space must be sealed and pressure is lower.
No rubber, but interesting for if you want to make seals and gaskets, is gasket paper.
Please note that the edges of laser cut rubber may peel off after laser cutting, depending on the type. You should therefore wash the rubber parts well with soap and water after receiving them.
