Properties
Unlike plywood, this is a solid panel. The outer layers of the bamboo stem are glued together in narrow strips to obtain this panel. The top and bottom of the panel are identical and the surface is hard and smooth. Bamboo is stiff and tough in line with the grain direction (strips of it can even be woven), but susceptible to breaks along the grains.
Applications
Solid bamboo is used, among other things, for housings, shop displays, and front panels.
