Description
Features
engraving laminate is ideal for creating durable, high-contrast and detailed engravings. The laminate is composed of 3 layers of acrylic, consisting of a core and a thin top layer on both sides in a contrasting color. When the top layer is removed during engraving, the core becomes visible. This creates nice contrast and benefits readability and forms a recognizable engraving. The detail and effect is like printing, with the added ability to laser in all possible shapes and details directly. The material is UV resistant, making it suitable for indoor and outdoor applications.
Applications
This material is ideally suited for visual applications. Think of information signs, creative nameplates, type plates, warning signs, etc. Mounting holes and special shapes can of course be cut right away. Front panels (possibly with additional backing) can also be made beautifully, with holes cut directly into them for panel elements. Furthermore, you can think of dials of measuring instruments or clocks, tool inlays with instructions / layout engraved, etc. Badges and brooches can easily be made by attaching a magnet to the back of a piece of engraved material.
